AshbyRx was started in 2019 by Elaine Ashby.  Elaine taught Biology, Chemistry, and Anatomy and Physiology at a local Community College before starting Pharmacy School in 2006.  On retiring early from teaching to work full-time as a pharmacist,  Elaine worked in a variety of pharmacy settings including retail pharmacy, a nursing home pharmacy, and a large insurance company where she spoke to people around the country in an effort to solve medication problems.  In these different settings it became clear that there are a lot of holes in pharmaceutical care and it was time to create and refine a new model for pharmacy business.   Our pharmacists are licensed in Maryland and West Virginia, but we can direct you to resources for help no matter where you are located.  Consider contacting us for more information and we may even add the answer to your question on our blog.  We look forward to being a source of help to make sure your medication is right for you.
